I'll Never Let You See Me Cry

by Heather M Craig   Mar 25, 2005

When it's pain you start to feel,
I seclude myself from your world,
to deduct what has become real,
I camouflage what has unfurled.

My eyes reveal what is wrong
but you're too fooled by the smile,
I'm in the pain where I belong,
at the same time, the state of beguile.

When you start to allow feelings revealed,
I'm still at the point of where I've begun,
Instead, it's collecting pain, I steal
to only be captured in what is written.

I'll never let you see me cry
although it is all I can feel,
Everything will just amplify
and I will continue to conceal.
