The Perils of Internet Chatrooms

by Rachel E F Allen   Mar 26, 2005

I suppose I’m quite naive as a girl
Because when I joined the chat
I thought that I’d be making friends
Who’d know where I was at
It all started quite innocently
One night sat at my desk
I stumbled upon a link online
For a reputable room - I do not jest!
The first guy said ‘Hi babes, how are you’
All sweetness and light to start
But before long he’s asking my chest size
And calling me a boring old fart
The next was worse and even though
I was in a ‘CHAT’ room for mates
I started to understand what he wanted
As he told me the way he masturbates
So what is it with all you boys out there
Understand that some want only natter
We don’t want to meet you, sack your cook (in the Bill Clinton sense)
We only want to chatter
So with all my relationship troubles and woes
I’ve decided to abstain
From boys that are on chat rooms
In fact boys in general again
Because the sleaze that I found on there good lord
Well actually a had to laugh
Put me off the boys and girls alike
I’d rather take a bath!
