Secrets Kept

by Heather M Craig   Apr 5, 2005

I know you camoflauge the emotions
that run deep within you
in fear of what I may find
yet I can still read between the lines.

Sending out mixed signals
in hopes I remain oblivious
that I may just brush it off
like I can't seem to quaff...

And in your eyes, It does disappear
but it ceases to fade within me,
I can feel your emotions running
and I question why you keep it shunning

Because if you could bring it forward
and descend the concealer you've build,
I'd have no reason to hide
the mutual feelings I keep inside.
