What Mirrors Whisper

by Kevin   Apr 6, 2005

I just don't have distance
though similar hair i see
to fathom from pictures
or memory laden stories clear
the why of who
and what you are
were
and in my thoughts
might well be

I breathe because
you did before me and poured
all of your everything into
a screwless flat packed something something
a build it yourself anything all
a child and man instructionless and
thinking you could have saved this fall

Your work is amazing. Every time I read a poem you write, I find myself being pulled in and I can picture them being written and I can actually get pictures in my mind of what you are talking about. 5/5

I'm not sure whether this is about how i feel about God, or how i feel about my Mother....some might say they are one and the same...but well.

    Kevin,
in line 13, is it suppossed to be "a build it yourself, anything AT all ?" but other than that, a timeless piece, in depth, still pondering whether I understand it or I'm unsure? but nice work, much unlike any other friendship poem on here 5/5...
