Walls

by Heather M Craig   Apr 10, 2005

My walls are being rebuilt tonight,
I'm constructing them as we speak
because when they fell upon the ground,
I suddenly became a victim to the weak.

This time I will make it much more efficent
so I know they'll never collapse again.
I'll erase the friendships I declared hopeful
and be the ultimate element of pretend.

My visitations of happiness were good
while they lasted, merely a week or two
but darkness sneaks upon my still frame
and beyond these walls, no one is sneaking through!

Heather M Craig.

---Just needed to vent, it took me like, 5 minutes to write. Really fed up with the steady pain others feed so with this wall, no one can send it again.---

hey great poem people really do build walls like this inside thier heart.

“Even when it seems like nobody cares,
    someone always does,
you just have to reach out,
    and they'll catch your fall,
    just the only hard part,
is finding out who they are!” <--- i'm hear for your

    “Trying to fix my heart,
    it's all broke up,
    turned everyone away,
which is why it's still broken today,” <-- you will still need to love in life, just don't block to many people out.

it sounds like your going through something rought just keep your chin up, hopefully i can help some.

~PLP~ Lil slam~ hugs and love!
