Place Me In The Shadows

Catch me in the waves of darkness,
search for me in the depths of shadows,
find me in the pits along the chain of beauty
where lighted faces supress.

Betray me in the darkest hours,
guide me back to the road of depression,
sustain me from adventures of happiness
which enables my soul to cower.

Perform incisions of the heart - you did intrude,
shatter the few remains I still pretain,
toss me back to shadow's door
where I'll live in my solitude.
