The Anguished Heart's Dream

by Heather M Craig   Apr 26, 2005

I dream a dream
too far fetch of reality.
Drenched in distance
of the blissful emotion,
silence hoped for me.

Pain engulfed my tainted heart
tapping upon the cage guarding my soul
that's purified to the rims.
Yet nothing disguises the agony inside
that the organ specified for love beholds.

The oblivion within my bathetic frame
calls for a dream to set me free....
The dream to awake in happiness
to justify my position in life's eye,
a dream only the heart can see.

Heather M Craig.

--Boredom striked once again in physics class (lol, Aaron) based on the cliche of how you hurt inside but no one can see.---

Hurting inside but nobody can see -- that's me. You just write all the right things. Great job!
