Little By Little

Little by little she’s falling apart
She’s praying to leave this place
We watched her in her room this morning
As her tears stained her perfect face

Little by little she’s going away
She’s losing all faith and hope
We watched her in her room last night
As she prepared her taunting rope

Little by little she’s ending her life
She’s wishing for her life to be done
We watched her in her room yesterday
As she loaded her father’s gun

Little by little she’s losing it all
She’s remembering the mistakes she’s made
We watched her in her room every day
As she made another cut with her blade

Little by little she’s going insane
She’s praying to God once again
We’re watching her in her room right now
As she hit’s a deadly vein

“Little by little she’s falling apart”
That’s what we always said
We never offered her a helping hand
So now she’s on the floor dead
