I've seen the way you eye me like that
I've heard those whispers "She'll blame the cat"
See, you can try to get it but I bet you won't
You think I try to kill myself but I really don't
I can never explain this blade in my hand
If I try to explain you won't understand
It's become a hobby that I just can't quit
And yeah, I love it more after every slit
You can take my word and believe I'm okay
Not that it matters, the blade won't fade away
It keeps me sane and it keeps me alive
It's the one thing that's helped me survive
But I know what you're thinking in your twisted mind
Calling me "sick"... oh you're far too kind
You might call me sick for the things that I do
But honestly, what's it to you?
You'll still keep on labeling, thinking you know
Preventing your mind from trying to grow
