The Bound Woman (Black Zodiac 2)

by Dark Savior   Jul 30, 2005

She walks about in her cell.
Her impending doom known to well.

She smiles and does her "job"
tryes her hardest not to let out a sob.

She continues as she's told
He goes out, cell unlocked; how bold.

She shed three tears, not out of fear,
For children, youngest, oldest, one not yet here.

she doesn't want to leave them behind.
Not with their father; thankfully, one of a kind.

she notices the lock was gone.
now she races, with gun drawn.

she runs in her cell; to the bed
raises the gun against her head.

Note left. saying what she left unsaid
no more can she speak, for she is dead.

He comes home expecting his super
instead he finds a dead wife, mother, and lover.

I think this one had the best diction. You use such simple words, but each has its own powerful meaning. This wasn't my favorite from you, but I still enjoyed reading it. Nik
