The days before you died

by TeArS R FaLLiNg   Sep 8, 2005

POPâ?¦.
Every day remains the same
A pain unbearable to feel
Memories of a blissful past
A strong love they will always reveal

I cry for you now
Just want you to hold me tight
I want to feel your heart beat
To watch you sleep at night

You were the only one
Who just laying next to
Took all the pain away
It was just me and you.

The outside world was gone
Only love and comfort lingered in the air
Just the touch of your hand
Made the pain go away somewhere

I use to lie awake at night
Looking out at the sky
Praying to god
That this sickness would pass you by

Every happy thought was of us
Every wish was for you
I hoped everyday of my life
That my wishes would come true

A wish for your health to return
For the sparkle in your eyes to remain
For you to sleep and dream away
Without feeling the pain

A wish for us to always feel
The happiness and love
For you to stay and hold me
Not be a shining star above

A wish for you to be happy
For you to always know Iâ??m there
For you to remember me
To always feel how much I care

I want to go back to happy days
To the days weâ??d laugh so hard weâ??d cry
To the days I felt loved
The days before you died.
