If only you were here with me
To tell me that I'll be okay
I wish you could just hold me tight
And never leave me, only stay

If only you were here to hold my head high
And tell me to be strong
To guide me through this haze
And show me where I belong

I wish I wasn't so confused
About my life right now
I cannot do it by myself
I really need you now

Please just be with me
I need to know you're here

Because that's my biggest fear

And help me to get through it all

Just wipe the tears from my face

I miss you so much

But now it's time for me
To learn how to deal

I have to let these tears flow
And fall to the floor
I have to let it all out
It's time to open the door

If only I could've done this sooner
The door never should've shut
But now the door to my heart is open
And I can let this all out
