One Life To Live

God only gave us
one life to live
and in this life
we're supposed to give

give our happiness
and the smiles on our face
so we can make this world
a better place

don't let anyone
get through to you
don't let them say
what you can or cannot do

cuz we all should be happy
and living a great life
not having to go through pain
along with hate and strife

don't be afraid
let your inner self out
have fun while you can
with out one single doubt

and if you have a dream
reach up to the sky
do everything you wish
before the day you die

because if God only gave us
just one special day
we wouldn't be able to let out out feelings
or anything we want to say

but instead he gave us
so many years
way to many days
to just shed our tears

so get up, get moving
what are you waiting for
we have all this time
until we have to leave Life's door
