My Agoraphobia

by Mona   Dec 9, 2005

My Agoraphobia

Open air
I am afraid to go there
Unable to go to stores
I am afraid to get outdoors

Panic attack
Holds me back
And I am so afraid
To pass the blockade

Anxiety disorder
Dances with me on the border
My fear can't be shared
Oh I feel so scared

Time I waste
By my Phobia chased
Can't show a smile
Or throw the past on a trash pile

Into the night I glide
Without any pride
Phobia by my side
It keeps caught up inside

Dear Mr. Phobia;

Inside your prison caught
I stayed for two years
Everyone forgot
Who I was, they only knew my fears

The truth I've faced
I actually can be replaced
But I can't give up yet
Cause in time I might regret

I have to move on.

Today I will go to the store
I will go out that door
And tomorrow I will go to school
Mr. Phobia, I am no longer your fool!
