Liar, Liar

by Mona   Dec 18, 2005

Liar, liar,
Can you throw water on this fire?
Liar, liar,
Can you give me what I desire?

Liar, I hate to hear you talk like that
You twist around the words I said
I never meant to cause you pain
Till you said our lives were both the same

I never meant to do you harm,
But now the smoke alarm,
Goes off, you are on fire,
Because I called you a liar.

Liar, liar,
Can you throw water on this fire?
Liar, liar,
Can you give me what I desire?

You said I am just a drama queen
I am not some kind of machine
I can not control the way I feel
It just what I feel and there for real

So I tried to stab your heart out with a knife
But I only ended the knife's life
And I am in shock
I found out you have a heart like a rock

Liar, liar,
Can you throw water on this fire?
Liar, liar,
Can you give me what I desire?

If it took the smile off your face, does that mean I'm back? huh huh? Maybe...

Umm anways, great poem, as always I like the rhyming scheme you seem to always use, it never gets old.

Just because, I think that Liar Liar should be the first stanza also.
