You feel it in the morning, I feel it late at night,
I see it in your face, something isn't right,
Tell me what's wrong, a penny for your thought,
Tell me what's going on, tell me what I bought.

You feel it in the morning, I feel it late at night,
I see it in the moon, something isn't right.
I wonder what's wrong, what is it that I feel,
something just seems out of place, it doesn't quite feel real.

You felt it in the morning, I still feel it late at night,
I see it in the shining stars, something isn't right.
Tell me what I did, what did I do wrong,
Tell me with some rhyme you wrote, tell me with your song.
