Final Wish

by HighPerfection   Feb 9, 2006

My wrist are bleeding
My lips are blue
My eyes are glazed over
My body is so cold

I thought I was alone
He was there the whole time
Telling me to talk to him, he is there forever
His voice is lost in the wind blowing my ashes home

My friends mourn as though there life has to had ended
I told them to carry on
I asked them to be different to carry on for me
To never, forget me but not to dwell on my loss

I am always watching out for them
From above I can see what I thought was so horrible
Is really not so bad I regret it
To all of my friends I send a message

It may have been years later when I sent the message
But they remember me and received it so glowing
I knew when I saw them again, I knew I was going to be okay so would they

I may be long gone but forever my shadows will walk this earth

I hide my secret ever so preciously,
I hide my past ever so maliciously,
You leave me with feelings of insecurity.

This is a great poem. Nice read. 5/5.
