Mirror

by Krathia   Feb 19, 2006

Looked into the mirror,
Fingers touched the glass
Frightening and nearer
Haunted by the past

Wondering what became
Of the person I thought was me.
Life's different, yet still the same
What I hate is all I see

Longing for the careless freedom
That I lost and once had,
Gazing at the remains of my kingdom
Can I rebuild the ruins of my past?

Been looking into the mirror,
Fingers ache to touch the glass
Terrifying and even nearer
Still haunted by the past

Hmm.. this is an okay poem. The flow is great. The rhymes are a llittle off at few parts but still good. But it seems like it's re-written. Like I've read it too many times, and there's nothing really new about it. But it's still a good poem. I think you could've made it a little more unique though.
