Abyss.

by Steven Beesley   Mar 16, 2006

Abyss:

I cannot laugh, I cannot cry.
These hellish blue feelings I cannot describe.
So much suffering, so much pain;
how much more can this man take?

Full of misery, lack of esteem
and any pride.
You would never know what
I am experiencing inside.

There is no hate, if this be
my fate to face what I dread
and not to run and hide.
Confused with life, left high and dry.

All these nightmares come and
share with me my nights,
painful reminders of how
cruel life can be sometimes.

Find the courage to take it all
in my stride, I hope that
someday I can look back
and put everything aside.

I feel like I'm at the bottom of
a well looking up at a clear blue sky.
Will someone throw me down a
rope so I can climb from this abyss.

Yeh I know this feeling too... A sad, heart wrenching write, so powerful and emotional.
