X In Time

In time I'll forget you
In time, I'll find someone new
To cherish and love forever
Someone else to help me through

In time I'll realise
Why we told so many lies
To protect each other from the truth
To avoid each others eyes

In time I'll see again
Clear my vision, blinded by pain
And change my matter of opinion
No longer labelled insane

In time we will meet
But we will pass, looking at feet
Heads bowed, and eyes apart
As we continue walking down the street

I really don't want it to come to this
But I had a chance, I just couldn't miss
And now I wish I had just asked
For that one gift, that one special kiss

    This is so good. Um... not trying to criticize, but for the flow of the 2 and 3 stanza, maybe you sould put "I will" instead of "I'll"?

    This poem was also good, rhyme scheme good, and most importantly the words for the last two stanzas were dead perfect. Great job
