Wasted Solemn Oaths.

by Steven Beesley   Mar 31, 2006

Wasted Solemn Oaths:

Solemn oaths once were taken,
now thrown by the wayside.
Devotion and honesty are
all a figment of my imagination.

So many lies, so much deception.
Countless times of trickery and deceit,
traits of a cunning and crafty cheat.
Underhanded, unfair, just a sneak.

In the light of day, I see
just another liar and scoundrel.
Unwary of your slyness and fraud,
false pretenses and skulduggery.

Growing weary of such fraud,
will not deal with it anymore.
Be gone from me, your evil
and deviant ways.
For your soul I do weep.

Powerful and honest. Despise those who called themselves a friend and yet let you down so bad! They aren't worth your time of effort!!!!! Great write :)
