X Without You I'm Nothing

by Sole   Apr 9, 2006

Without your warm and friendly smile
I'm nothing.

Without your charming bright blue eyes
I'm nothing

Without your contagious laughter
I'm nothing

Without your touching beauty
I'm nothing

Without you, my world is grey
I'll wake up each and every day
Wishing it didn't have to be this way
Because without you, I'm nothing

Without your daring attitude
I'm nothing

Without your confident air
I'm nothing

Without your determination
I'm nothing

Without your caring prescence
I'm nothing

Without you my world is black
You make up for what I lack
I just wish you could come back
Because without you . . .
I'm nothing

Really beautiful poem, the use of repetition can sometimes make or break a poem and I think in this case it makes it, this is especially enhanced by the way that you break up the pattern both halfway through and at the end of the poem, great stuff (as usual =P) 5/5 x

This hit me hard because I am going through the exact same thing. We might as well be hurting because of the same person! this is an amazing poem, very sad. I loved it : )

    HAHAHA yea alright alright
Sorry but this has to be like one of my favs, if not my favourite poem from you, I mean you do have a little personality image in words
"perfect heart""purest heart" hmmm. . . this line, well I don't know it just seems so . . . 'out of place'?
But then again if I was indifferent to you I probably wouldn't bat an eyelid at it.
Keep writing, I don't have to tell you too, but don't stop =]
