Precious life wasted

It was terrible news
i got when i was in the mart
it shook me all up
and it broke my heart

no one knows how
no one knows why
no one can say
why she chose to die

of all the saddest songs
thats ever been sang
the worst was when
my friend decided to hang

i didnt know how
i didnt know why
i cant do nothing now
except to cry

i wish i was there
to hear what she had to say
so she wouldn\'t have
lost her life this way

can someone tell me how
can someone tell me why
can you turn back time
please can you try?

i wish i was there
as your friend
so you wont have decided
your precious life to end.

    I'm sorry for the loss of your friend, it must have been hard for you, and her family and friends. At least you can let your emotions out through poetry.
    It was an emotive write, however, for me the rhymes were a tad predictable and the flow was off in places.
    Nevertheless, good job.

    I love your poem, it's so sad. I love the title, which describes suicide perfectly. Your poem tells everything that ran through your mind when you find out and after, and how you're feeling now.
