Reaching out my hand
To find you're out of reach
I can't understand
Why you have to make this speech

I try to pull you in
But I cannot get a grip
You're too drawn within
It's your fault if you slip

I turned away from you
That, my biggest mistake
I was blind to what was true
Depressed, another fake

You know, I'm always here
I have a caring hand to lend
Please, never live in fear
You have a lifelong friend
