Hiding in the Shadows

Hiding in the shadows
Afraid what I have become
The mirror my biggest fear
Somewhere I don't belong.

This place where I shatter
Lost into my mind.
No one can save me
Nowhere else for me to hide.

Trying to forget the past
The memories etched within
A pain I can't leave behind
It's always where I've been.

Where I am, is where I will be
In the darkness of the elapsed
Myself is my greatest enemy
It's me whom I cannot fight.

It's hard to only feel one emotion
A circling deceit of powering conclusion
I cannot help but feel hopeless
In this wrath of my confusion.

Try to save me.
Try to help.
Try to talk me out of it.
Try and see what's left.

I know you can't do so
And neither can I.
Here I'm meant to be
And don't even know why.

    Wow I really enjoyed reading that because I can relate so well. The flow was amazingly good, although the last stanza through me off. I feel like there should be one more line. Maybe you could put "Until the end of time" at the end, I don't know it's just a suggestion.

    Try to save me.

    Try to talk me out of it.
    Try and see what's left.
    ^^ I loved that stanza, it was my favorite one.

    Same topic as most poems, but different. More thought put into this one. Short lines but with morepowerful words but with a feeling of desperation from the speaker.
