Forgiveness

I walk through those
Big heavy doors
Searching for one
Thing alone...
Forgiveness

You take one look
At me and make your
Judgment of me...
No matter what I
Do or say you will
Never see me...

I hear of all the
Wonderful stories
Of how you have
Saved so many
Damaged souls...
And how you never
Turn anyone away...
But as I enter through
Your doors all I can
Feel is the hate
You have for me...

You claim that as
Long as I wish to
Be forgiven...and
That I wish to believe
You will stand with
Open arms...
But as i enter
Through your doors
Seeking the only
Thing I want,
Forgiveness,
You turn me away...

    Simply gorgeous! This strangly reminds me of a church, making confessions to a preist. It's wonderful, as is all of your work.
