So what?

by Choose xX Alex Xx Life   Jul 27, 2006

Does it matter what color you are?
or how much you weigh,
don't be bothered what people think of you,
they're just jealous anyway.

so what if you're down syndrome,
doesn't mean you haven't got a heart,
treat people as you want to be treated,
you were unique from the start.

god made us all for a reason.
that reason being unknown,
you have to find out your purpose in life,
and let your story be told.

we cant say were all born to be equal,
because we are really not,
if that true wheres our individuality,
what difference have we got.

find your true colors in life,
and save somebody's sole,
your smile is what makes other people happy,
so go and get yourself known.

Aww. It's sad, but explains a lot. To me, it was saying that people are discriminating others because of what they look like. Which is true. But we shouldn't be racist or awful to one another. We're supposed to get along in this world.

This poem was very well written. =P I liked the rhymes. They were so original, and not used very often. The message was a great one too. =)

    [and save somebody's {sole}]
Correction: {soul} You got the wront tense. =P Keep it up, you're a terrific writer. =) 5/5 xoxo
