Pretend Nothings Wrong

As the tears begin to flow
I curl up as close to you
As I possibly can...and
You don't notice the tears
Slowly dancing across my
Pale, cold face...

I just want to feel
Loved if only for a minute...
Don't tell me of the pain
You feel and I wont worry
You with all the pain I feel...

You get up from the bed...
Throw down your money
And ask for when the next
Time I'm free for you
To get your fun again...
And I just say I'll call...

I just want to pretend
That nothings wrong...
That I'm loved...if only
For a second of time...
Let me feel that...

I get ready to break down
But the next one comes in
And I give him what he wants...
And he gives me what I
Want...love...if only for a
Short while...I still got it...

Let me pretend that
My life is good...
That you love me...
That I'm happy...
And I'll give you
Anything you want!
Just let me forget
Everything I've
Been through!
