Under Pressure

by sчиτнєτι¢__x.   Aug 17, 2006

Darkened corner beyond caged doors,
Flickering candles searching for peace,
Vacant seats left for gathered families,
Crying their goodbyes for their release.

Flashing memories exist whilst entering,
Haunting pleads play through my mind,
Creeping backwards needing to escape,
Entry's closed; password's been denied.

Sorrow filled music ringing within my ears,
Holding back all tears from my ice eyes,
Beautiful roses swaying with two hands,
But shaking by words of final goodbyes.

Soldiers go walking in one straight line,
Passing down their one rose of bravery,
Numerous fears of sad past nightmares,
Consumes light in the air; I'm unworthy.

Head bowed down in complete shame,
Confused faces stare into my direction,
"What's she so afraid of?" they whisper,
While placing my rose as muscles tighten.

Exploding heart which is now trapped inside,
Leaving with nothing but more tears to cry,
Tasting salt on tongues which do not speak,
Reminded every moment; my brother died.

(Under pressure).......I can't do this again!
