Screaming In Silence

by sчиτнєτι¢__x.   Oct 15, 2006

She's screaming in silence,
Through a narrow hallway,
With no windows or doors,
Leading to happy thoughts,
For tears to reach cold floors.

She's screaming in silence,
Begging for helping hands,
To rip out unknown truth,
Which lays within her soul,
From her past troubled youth.

She's screaming in silence,
While her body's shaking,
Of fear from a flash back,
Which awoke with his face,
And derailed her off track.

The metaphors in this poem express the desire to find the narrow passage to healing from a tragic past with powerful imagery.. this is well written
