Why is your sky darker than mine
What clouds have covered your sun
Why do your tears come easily
Why is your world so undone

What person has destroyed you
And caused you all this pain
What heartless words were said to you
And dangled on a chain

Why did you not fight back
And give yourself a chance
Why did you fall so quickly
And not take a firmer stance

I cannot understand you
Or why you sink so low
I try my best to help you
But I fear it doesn't show

You stare out the glass window
And watch the hard rain pour
And I wonder deep inside
Do you see me anymore?
