The Reason I Smile

I often feel so down and sad
The reasons unexplained
And even when they do make sense
It doesn't undo the pain

So unlike the others who wallow
In their darkest misery
I need to smile and laugh
Feeling upbeat and happy

I need to know the sun still shines
Behind the gray rain clouds
And that the storm will pass
For a rainbow to come out

I need to know there's greener grass
Even if it's a hill away
Then I must be reminded
That tomorrow comes after today

My cup is still half full
Though I thought the well was dry
And tears can be GOOD things
That fall down from your eyes

I always need these joys
To revitalize who I can be
So I smile just because,
Just because I am me

    the imagery is amazing and i loved how u used sayings in them.well done and keep on doing what u are doing.. coz it is great.
