Always & Forever

It's been a long time and quite a few years.
We've raised our kids and cried a few tears.

Seeing you smile really makes my day.
With a love so true... by your side I will stay.

When you wink at me I'm really flattered.
And all the years thats past doesn't really matter.

Forever and always... true to the end.
Through sickness and health it's you I will defend.

All the times we've had and shared together.
I have to say it feels like forever.

It's you that I love and charish the most.
Gods really blessed us and looks down on us both.

    I read this poem and it made me think. nothing is always forever it seems like. i told my ex that and she truelly believed me but now im with someone else.. this poem is ok other then nothing is forever but maybe love.. you happy inlove?

    I agree that it deserves 5/5.. Such a beautifully written poem well done.

    There seems to be a downvoting 'trend' going on right now, I wouldn't take it personally they are either jealous, or have nothing better to do with their time.. more than likely both :]
