By my side is where,
I thought you would be.
How wrong I was,
And now I see.

I really didn't matter to you,
And I should've known.
By the way you treated me,
When I was young.

As if hitting the bottle wasn't enough,
Telling me to get out of your life.
Well... That was a little rough.

It's really sad to say,
I have no mother.
And I always wandered,
Why I never seen my brother.

Not a minute goes by,
I don't think about that day.
May god show mercy on you,
That's what I pray.

I have found that by writing about the things that are weighing on my heart and soul helps to ease the burden. So keep on writing, and telling your story. I thought it was great!

I love this. I've been going through the same thing. No matter how hard it has gotten for me though I've always remembered that people are in worse conditions than me. If you could sometime please look at "Daddy Please" thanks 5/5
