Grow Up

by Krathia   Nov 24, 2006

Come with me, let's leave this horrid place
I've had enough of not daring to show my face
Let's leave our broken memories behind
How 'bout we get out there, who knows what we'll find?

Walk with me, let's put aside the past
It's just an empty room where friendships never last
Once a joy, now a chore
The laughs of long ago are now tired and sore

Run with me, let's rip apart our fears
It's no fun having to wipe away these tears
Skip along with the wind on your face
Let's sprint past the anger and win the race

Sail with me, let's conquer land and sea
Let the waves crash and push away our agony
What's the difference between truth and make-believe?
The pain is gone, what's left are our dreams

Fly with me, let's spread our new-grown wings
Forget you failures and become your own kings
Life is our adventure, so we are free to roam
The past is left behind and the future is out home
