The Wicked Side.

by ASPHYXIATED   Dec 14, 2006

A defensive wall,
Made of fake smiles and lies,
People just hurt you,
They're trained to despise.
Don't leak your true self,
Behind false remarks you hide,
Let them all judge you,
They're on the wicked side.

A parallel universe,
Where you're not to blame,
Write your own story,
And play your own game.
Wipe your stale tear drops,
Before they freeze in the cold,
Look in from the outside,
At the life you never controlled.

Protect your own image,
Save your own skin,
Screw being happy,
Your in this to win,
Polish your lies,
Perfect your fake smile,
Show you've got back bone,
Screw being loyal,
Betray those who love you,
Hurt those who care,
Back stab your true friends,
Cause life's just not fair.

Your on the wicked side.

    Another excellent poem!

    "A parallel universe,
Where your not to blame," -- it should be 'you're', not 'your'. You did this again in the third stanza - I suggest changing that.

Overall, this was brilliant. I love the emotion you convey in your poems.

Haha! I loved this poem! The only problem I found was:

Where your not to blame, ... you're**

Other than that, I loved it!!! You are a great writer! Your rhymes were perfect and your vocab was amazing.

    Excellent!
