Words can kill

by Espoirfailed   Jan 12, 2007

Can't you see
Love is just potential hate?
If you wait
No matter what
Your love will turn
Like a possessed demon.
Light shining
From your hurtful beacon.

And you've killed me
Without even touching me
Your words have done it.
They were enough.
They were more
They were adequate.
And think before
You open your mouth.
Because the weapons that spill out
How they can charm,
But they can harm
Worse still
They can kill.

I'm glad I chose to read this one because at this moment in time, I can completely relate and i love how it's not been done in the same style poems are normally done if you get me and i like the idea of what you're writing about, so you get a 5! well done and keep it up!
