The Last Slow Dance

by The Queen of Spades   Jan 24, 2007

A slow dance
No fate, just chance
Just you, me, and the music
Sweet kisses
Invisible to unknowing eyes
They just missed it
We'll make it love
Or make it secret
It just feels so right
The bass against my soul
An embrace so tight
Never hot, never cold
Perfect, so perfect
In your arms
I wither away
To a silly girl
Trapped in another day
Oh what a world
And if the music never ended
If I died and swaying with you
Was my last movement
I know it'd be true
And I'd leave my life
Knowing how much I loved you
And I'd die happy
In this last slow dance
With you holding me.
