Dreams Can Be Real

by The Queen of Spades   Mar 30, 2007

If I couldn't find the dream
Inside your bright, hazel eyes
I'd be lost without a map
Broken in spirit, small in size

If I couldn't taste your tears
So warm in their saltiness
Forever confused I would feel
Wrapped in a shell of loneliness

If I couldn't be held by you
I'd be sans shelter, in the cold
I might never find my voice and
Just simply do what I'm told

If I couldn't feel your love
Black as night, my heart would be
Fortunately there's a light
Guiding you so close to me.
