The day i lost my best friend

As i see my best friend,
for the last time before i leave,
i cry so much i can't see,
we're moving i can't believe,

we were supposed to stay friends forever,
but forever wasn't long away,
this is where our friendship ends,
on the sad fateful day,

my mom said I'd make new ones,
but maybe i don't want to,
i slowly say goodbye,
and say I'll always remember you,

as we drive away,
i glance out the back window,
she is still standing in her driveway,
crying like a widow,

i cry and scream at my parents,
telling them i hate them so,
after all it is their fault,
their the ones who made me go,

i call my friend that night,
telling her i miss her already,
telling her it wasn't my fault,
and that I'm really sorry,

we cry on the phone,
till my mom says it's time to go,
i say goodbye,
then go,

i remember the good times,
funny and sad,
i remember how cute she was,
when she was really mad,

we still talk,
and laugh about the old memories,
i don't really ever think,
she hears my silent cries,

we were supposed to be together,
and stay best buds forever,
but then i had to move away,
and now we aren't together..............
