I talk to you almost every day
I talk and see you smile
And my cheeks glow red
When I see
The way you look at me

But all in all, its only friendship
Or even just hormonal lust
Because really you like her
Over there

She isnt the most beautiful girl
But she isnt ugly
Not at all
She is a little big
But no fat

And she's happy all the time
I'm happy to,
can't you see?
I love you, here I am
But you just bat your eyelashes
And I lay unnoticed at your side

As you dance with her
You hold her close
She feels your erect penis by her leg
You dance with me
Once or twice
But its never anything like that
Its purely just being kind
Between us
Friendship is all we have

And thats what makes it hard
Knowing thats it
Thats all
And that's that

    Oh pants. i forgot to comment!
    this is pretty nice. simple, but still effective.
    i actually love the title and how it's incooperated into the poem. it's a nice concept overall, but there's room for improvement in how you portray your ideas with a little bit more .. sophistication? diligence? i'm not sure on the right word really.
    you're a lovely writer, just keep learning.

    Im not sure who rated this poem with a 4 but they dont know what their talkin about, this poem was great, it had a lot of emtion in it and also i can relate for i liked a guy once but he liked my friend and that hurt a lot so i know where you're coming from, very well written
