Spreading love across the land
Angels dance and sweetly sing
Spreading love across the land

Tranquil tenderness they always bring
Reaching deep into each soul
Angels dance and sweetly sing

They show us how we can enroll
And find a place where true lies
Reaching deep into the soul

They come to earth in a disguise
They help us to find our melody
And find a place where true love lies

They pick us up from the debris
Helping us find the love in life
They help us to find our melody

Protecting us from pain and strife
Helping us find the love in life
Spreading love across the land

(The Terzanelle is a poetry type which is a combination of the villanelle and the Terza Rima forms. It is a 19-line poem consisting of five interlocking triplets/tercets plus a concluding quatrain in which the first and third lines of the first triplet appear as refrains. The middle line of each triplet is a repetend reappearing as the last line of the succeeding triplet with the exception of the centre line of the next-to-the-last stanza which appears in the quatrain. The rhyme and refrain scheme for the triplets is as follows:

    I love it, but in the third stanza, you forget the "love" after true. I always loved terzanelle`s and this one is beautiful, great job.

    You know far too well how exceedingly fond I am with Terzanelles and Villanelles; this one is no exception either. These heavenly beings are very much significant in my existence, believing that they're invariably present and helping me at all times. =) When you stated the aforementioned lines, I could just relate because they simply are my inspiration...a joy to read!
