I'm Sorry...

I'm sorry
I never shed a tear for you
Because I wasn't such a worry
And I thought it would never come true

But I guess did
Now, I'm full of shame
But the tears I forbid
Never did came

I'm sorry, I know it's too late
But I never shed a tear
For you, now I hate
Myself of being late for 2 years

Once again, I'm sorry for the pain
I caused you
It must've shocked you but I was sustained
By my mind, believing it wasn't true

I'm sorry, so sorry, like I said
I thought it would never come true
So instead, like a coward, I fled
Believing you just had a flu

But now I know
That that day
It was apparently true
You were gone, long ago
And now I want to say
I'll always love you

(This poem is dedicated for my Tatay (grandpa). Two-three years ago, he died and I never shed a tear.)

    Well this is a great poem.. You even dedicated it to your grandpa.. It's really hard to lose someone in our life..

    Anyway once again it was a great poem, this is my favorite out of the three =)

    i feel the same way for someone... i just wanted to believe she just was sick, but she was dying, and i still dont believe it true..

    Dont be sorry people deal with things in different ways its not about the emotion you show others and what is shown on the outside its more the memories you have and the feelings within...really good writing keep it up :)
