Days are passing
Turning to weeks
To months
To years

It used to be hard with out you
But now I'm doing just fine
I'm glad you're out of my life
No longer mine

I don't think
It was ever meant to be
We were just doing our thing
Caught up in a lame summer fling

We had some fun while it lasted
But that is now in the past
Who really knows what the problem was
Maybe "I love you" came to fast

I see you have moved on now
As have I
I will not look back
I refuse to cry

As I move into the future
I find myself stronger
For knowing you has made me stronger
Mentally and physically
