He doesn't hide the truth of her

But just so slyly I can see
The want of doing so shine through

He tells me things about himself
And I find I'm falling in love
What intentions could we have.
There's none I can think of.

He's such a beautiful liar
He made such a wonderful play.
I fell for his charming desire
But was smart, and walked away.

He can see that in my eyes
I'm hiding what I want from him.
