Mistakes

I've tired so hard to stand on my own
But I've grown so weak
and my weakness shows
You can see the smile die in my eyes
Whenever you look my way
You can hear my faint breath
The ones you used to take away

You know a part of me dies
Every time you bring her around
Holding her close, you must love her smell
Everything about her screams perfect
There aren't any marks on her skin
You once told me flaws were beautiful
Now they are nothing more than mistakes

    Beautiful. But somewhat sad once, I was very much in love with a woman I know was meant for me. At the time I was a terrible introvert and a few years later she died.
