The lies

I hate all the lies!
Its just a disguise.
Why hide the truth?
Its like youre trying to get ride of your youth.

Why is it we hide?
Why is it we lie?
I know the truth hurts,
But thats just life.

Why does it hurt so much?
And all I want it your touch.
Why not end it now?
But how?

Why do we play this game?
It just turns into a flame.
Why is it so hard to end it?
Yet so easy to quit.

We have a choice.
Try and listen to the voice.
Its just so hard,
And it always leaves a scar.
