After the lies
The promises broken
Words that stung and
Too soon were spoken

Time that was lost
Because you bailed out
Moments I screamed
'Cause it felt good to shout.

Tears that stung me
As they fell with pain
'Cause you didn't step up
To the title you claim

You want understanding...
I wanted your time
You didn't give it
Why should I give mine?

Yet, I still do
Despite what you did.
I'm older now
And not such a kid.

But now I am numb
To things that you do.
My heart's been broken
Too much by you.

    This was a very good "finality" poem. If that makes sense. Like, this was a good poem saying that you're just going to move on. You have completely shut that aspect of your life out, once and for all. This was very good pome once again! :)
