Sometimes

by Poet on the Piano   Nov 2, 2007

Please comment on this poem, so I can know if people really like it. I will return the favor if possible. Thanks and enjoy!!!

Sometimes I take chances,
I took one with you,
Trying so hard to love you.

Sometimes I laugh,
You laugh with me,
Making my heart,
Jump with glee.

Sometimes I smile,
When I look at you,
You complete me,
And everything around me.

Sometimes I fear,
I fear life,
But you are by my side,
Faking a smile.

Sometimes I wonder,
If you are really true,
If you really love me,
Like you say you do.

Sometimes I hurt,
Knowing the truth,
That I never knew,
About you.

Sometimes I cry,
I cry for you,
My heart mourns,
The loss of you.

I go through life,
With a lot of sometimes,
Sometimes loving,
Sometimes hating,
Sometimes just lost,
Sometimes.

Well, I surely love this poem. I wasn't too fond of how you had 3 stanzas, then 4 through-out (minus the last - but I usually count that as an exception). But, it did go just fine with the rest of the poem.

And, I love how you put it. I've always wanted to write a poem like such, and it's great to read one that is so easy to relate to. because, so many people go through life with in such a way.

You did a wonderful job with this.
And, at first I wasn't sure why it was in the sad poems, lol. But, at the end I got it.
