Night Sky [triple haiku]

by The Queen of Spades   Nov 6, 2007

A sweet crescent moon
Lingers slowly overhead
Beacon for the poor

Diamond drops hanging
In the sky, like fairytale
Wonder without end

Blackness comes to end
The memory is still clear
A love from within

    Great piece my friend!
    A sweet crescent moon
    Lingers slowly overhead
    Beacon for the poor

    Diamond drops hanging
    In the sky, like fairytale
    Wonder without end

Its beautiful that you show the crescent (not the full moon) in its slow movement resembling diamond and everyone knows what's diamond and how it reflect even fine lights propagating them in several directions...this is so beautiful imagery, as a not ending story.

    Blackness comes to end
    The memory is still clear
    A love from within

The blackness coming after the end proved that the complete story ended but love just started, when the memory got inspired to start a love story from that ending. I loved the connection between nature and love in this part, it's inspiring.

    Overall:
I like the use of love in nature poems. It's a matter of feeding the nature with emotions.
What can I say other than this poem is so beautiful, leaving good emotions carved deep in the memories.

    This is very lovely. 5/5

  • WOW! Simply wonderful and -oh- so colorful poetry gem, your writing here is fascinating, and I found something haunting in priceless beauty which you described. I admire your thoughts. I can not write Haikus, once I could, but not anymore, but I can deeply and strongly relate with beauty that you painted, greatly, which is more important!
    Bravo, 5/5/ you stunned me/.

Haikus are great to read and the fact that you did three and made them match so beautifully
made me wonder how many more of these you will write. if you do make more ill have to keep watch just for them. the three here were beautiful and i give it a 5/5 !props!
